Shape the Future of Corrosion Management – Submit Your Abstracts for 2026
We are excited to announce the call for abstracts for the Australasian Corrosion Association’s Corrosion & Prevention 2026 Conference, to be held in Christchurch in October 2026.
Corrosion & Prevention 2026 will feature a comprehensive program of peer-reviewed papers, case studies, technical forums, a research symposium, and valuable networking opportunities. The conference provides a platform for industry practitioners and researchers to share knowledge, showcase projects, and exchange ideas.
Abstract submissions are open for technical papers and case studies across all areas of corrosion and its control, asset management, and related fields. We welcome contributions from industry, academia, government, asset owners, consultants, contractors, and manufacturers.
Case Study Abstracts
Due to popular demand, in addition to our technical papers, the Case Study paper option will return for 2026. Case studies, such as reports on field trials and the use of new and/or novel technologies for corrosion prevention and protection are an important part of knowledge exchange for the corrosion industry.
All papers (technical/research papers and case studies) will be subject to the standard paper review process. A technical paper template and case study template will be released in late February.
Technical Paper Abstracts
Technical papers remain a cornerstone of the 2026 conference program. Research studies, experimental investigations, and reviews of innovative approaches in corrosion prevention and protection are essential for advancing knowledge and sharing expertise within the corrosion industry.
All technical paper submissions will be subject to the standard paper review process. A technical paper template will be released in late February to guide authors in preparing their submissions.
